Lead Minister Mike Johnson is the proud husband of Sandi and the father of Joshua and Hannah. He has been in ministry for three decades as a youth minister, worship leader, children’s director, associate minister, and preacher. Mike holds a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Southern Christian University. He enjoys reading, walking, and keeping up with his beloved Auburn Tigers and Atlanta Braves. The Johnsons joined the Mandarin family in 2018, and can’t wait to see what God does next.
Dakota Thornton

Youth Minister Dakota Thornton has a degree in Biblical Studies with a focus in family and youth ministry from Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, TX. Born in New Mexico, he lived all of his adult life in Texas until moving to Jacksonville. He enjoys reading, movies, games, and exploring the outdoors with his wife and two children. He has served Mandarin since October 2019 and is excited to see how God continues to work through him as a part of this family.

Office Manager Gail Coles attended Florida State University and earned both a B.S. and Masters in Business Administration. She worked 28 years for IBM and is a mother of two sons and grandmother of three.

Marketing Coordinator Meghann Sikes leads social media, Audio/Visual, and marketing efforts, creating meaningful content and coordinating outreach that helps share the church’s mission, celebrate its community, and invite others to find connection and belonging.
