Mandarin On Campus Covid Protocols

If you would like to attend online, please contact Mike.

Your leadership team remains committed to your safety as we continue to navigate this Covid season. We understand that every time we gather on the Mandarin campus, some are fully vaccinated, some are partially vaccinated, and some are not vaccinated at all. With that in mind, your leadership requests that in the spirit of humbly valuing others above ourselves (Philippians 2:3), we all volunteer to follow the below guidelines while on the Mandarin campus.

1. Adults:

a. While inside the church building, we strongly encourage masks to be worn by those who are not fully vaccinated.

b. For those who are fully vaccinated and those who have Covid antibodies due to a recent Covid infection, mask wearing is optional.

c. During worship or Bible class, while seated with your family and distanced from others, wearing a mask is your choice.

d. If you desire to sit next to someone who is not a family member, please secure their permission before doing so.

e. When approaching others, please make sure they are comfortable with close contact before shaking hands, hugs, or other physical contact. Otherwise, physical distancing in line with CDC guidelines is encouraged.

2. Children

a. Children under 3 do not need to wear a mask at any time.

b. While elementary children and teens are in classes, mask wearing is left to the discretion of parents. Children are distanced in alignment with current CDC school guidelines of 3 feet apart, with exceptions allowed for siblings.

We have learned over the last year and a half that all Covid guidelines are fluid and are subject to ongoing review and modification, so we ask for and appreciate your grace and patience as these guidelines continue to evolve. We encourage all Mandarin family members to be fully informed regarding Covid by staying in contact with their family physician and following the best medical advice available.
