Children's Worship Mandarin Children’s Worship
3 years old – 1st grade Children’s Worship is an extension of the Mandarin Family Worship Time. We encourage the children to learn and participate in Worship at their level. Children’s worship is an extension of the full family worship. Thus we begin each worship session with parents in the group setting. After communion the children are excused to the promise land where their special time begins. The children are sponsoring a child who is currently living at the Mount Dora Children’s Home and Bible School. Each Sunday they give a donation to help her purchase the things she needs and wants. Acts 20:35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ Adult volunteers, and teen helpers, take turns leading the children in worship. Each rotation lasts 2 months. While the class time follows a similar pattern of progression each week, the leaders utilize many different teaching styles and media. This includes but is not limited to: story telling, music, drama, games, puppets, crafts, videos, & filmstrips. If you would like to volunteer to be a teacher, helper or puppeteer please let us know.
